What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a gentle, mostly painless procedure in which you will receive very fine needles placed superficially into specific points on your body which improve the flow of Qi and correspond to your diagnosis and presented symptoms.
Acupuncture has been healing people and providing relief from pain and common medical conditions for thousands of years. It is one of the oldest forms of healthcare, and is favored for its holistic view of the body, and fast results for acute situations of pain and discomfort.
Acupuncture evolved over many years as an effective medical treatment with a holistic approach where it addresses not just the symptom you are experiencing, but all of the layers involved, the organ systems, the energetics, the emotional aspect, your lifestyle factors, and your medical history.
What is Qi ?(pronounced “chee”)
The fundamental concept of acupuncture is based on the belief that Qi is the vital life force within our bodies and all living things. This energy flow is what makes us alive, and your health is directly influenced by the quality and flow of Qi. Therefore, stagnation or blockages in the Qi cause disease and illness.
The acupuncturist improves Qi flow and redirects energy for your optimal wellness. In Traditional Chinese Medical theory, the body has 12 meridians (pathways) in which the Qi flows along, and there are over 400 documented points on the body. In a typical session, you might receive 10-20 needles, give or take depending on your unique pattern of symptoms.
You may feel tiny, quick little pokes in certain spots, and in other places you may feel nothing at all. Most clients actually fall asleep during their treatments, because acupuncture has a relaxing effect on the central nervous system.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine are safe, effective and drug-free therapies that can help address a wide variety of common ailments and problems.

Will you be my acupuncturist ? I need many things you are offering. Love Mom ?
The whole presentation is lovely. The only thing I saw that needed a little twik was the word last , lasting would be better. That was in the beginning when you said something like last benefit, lasting may be better. I think you know that, but it slipped by. Your overall presentation is beautifully done, and I especially love the comments some of your patients made about the benefits of your treatment, and how pleased they were with you and your practice.
Love you beautiful talented Rose. Mom?
